Quiting

This week I will be blogging on why we quit, I mean why as a society do we believe that it is OK to just quit, give up or just walk away (from anything) when times get tough. I believe quiting does things to us in our minds, emotions and our confidence that we should not be getting ourselves into, quiting is very destructive and we must find a way to change from taking the easy way out to holding out until things change for the positive, and then we will feel empowered, strong and confident. We will become victorious and we will realize that we can be over comers.
Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lesson From Job

I have been studying in Job this week and in Job 35: 6-8, Elihu is asking "if you sin, what do you give to God? Or, if your transgressions are multiplied, what do you to Him? If you are righteous, what do you give Him? Or, what does He receive from you hand? Your wickedness affects a man such as you, and your righteousness a son of man."
When I think about this I am reminded that the things we do has no affect what so ever on God, but our actions will absolutely have an affect on our own lives if we sin we only hurt ourselves and others around us, Sure God doesn't like it but it doesn't influence Him or His actions. If we are righteous it has no affect or influence over God, but it most definitely will affect us and those around us.
Proverbs 9:12 says "If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, and if you scoff, you will bear it alone"
Everything God has done, He has done out of love for us, but do we as make choices from our love for Him or love for ourselves?
My prayer is that you would give this some serious thought, that you would study these scriptures out and make the changes necessary to bring you into a closer relationship with the Creator and His Son Jesus Christ!
