Quiting

This week I will be blogging on why we quit, I mean why as a society do we believe that it is OK to just quit, give up or just walk away (from anything) when times get tough. I believe quiting does things to us in our minds, emotions and our confidence that we should not be getting ourselves into, quiting is very destructive and we must find a way to change from taking the easy way out to holding out until things change for the positive, and then we will feel empowered, strong and confident. We will become victorious and we will realize that we can be over comers.
Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lesson From Job

I have been studying in Job this week and in Job 35: 6-8, Elihu is asking "if you sin, what do you give to God? Or, if your transgressions are multiplied, what do you to Him? If you are righteous, what do you give Him? Or, what does He receive from you hand? Your wickedness affects a man such as you, and your righteousness a son of man."
When I think about this I am reminded that the things we do has no affect what so ever on God, but our actions will absolutely have an affect on our own lives if we sin we only hurt ourselves and others around us, Sure God doesn't like it but it doesn't influence Him or His actions. If we are righteous it has no affect or influence over God, but it most definitely will affect us and those around us.
Proverbs 9:12 says "If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, and if you scoff, you will bear it alone"
Everything God has done, He has done out of love for us, but do we as make choices from our love for Him or love for ourselves?
My prayer is that you would give this some serious thought, that you would study these scriptures out and make the changes necessary to bring you into a closer relationship with the Creator and His Son Jesus Christ!

What's Going On?

What's going on in our society these days? I have been watching how husbands and wives are treating each other and it blows my mind, we treat each other horribly it's like women have no respect for the men in their lives and the men are giving in to it like it's supposed to be that way and they tolerate it. In return men aren't loving women like they should. I believe our society believes love is a feeling and when the feeling is gone and I am no longer receiving the provisions I require in my life it's over bye, bye just like they do in holly wood, what a shame, marriages being ended because we have forgotten that marriage is a commitment on both sides and love is a choice we make everyday not a feeling. My friends the enemy is winning the war in this area and we are doing nothing to fight it. It's like we don't care as long as it doesn't effect us. Anyway ?
Just Provoking thought!!!!!!!!!!

Keep Your Head Up!!!!!

With all that is happening with our nation today especially with all the government take overs and power grabs, it can seem at times that we as a nation are doomed, that there is no hope for our republic so why even fight it. Well it is at times like these that we as a Christian nation can and I believe will shine, through prayer voicing our opinion and voting instead of keeping quiet we will overcome the spirit of distruction that is trying to take over our country. Be of good cheer, pray and keep your head up, and we will overcome.
May the Lord Bless You Today

Tested

You know everyday is a new day, and each comes with a certain amount of stress which seems in today's society to be normal, but sometimes the stress of life seems almost unbearable. These are the times we need to draw on the lessons learned through our walk with the Lord as we mature as Christians. Psalms 118:24 "this is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it." Do we really believe that we should rejoice in the Lord through all things? I hope so, everyday I am learning more and more to trust Jesus with every aspect of my life and I am finding that I stress less and my faith is growing stronger.
Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am not there yet, but I am on the road amen.

Just Wondering

Lately I have been wondering what's going on with Christian people? I wonder how many are truly seeking after God with all there hearts; studying His word like we should instead of just reading it to fill some sort of obligation.

It's like saying I'm a pilot and just reading a book that tells you how to do it, then when the time comes to actually fly the plane you don’t have a clue about what to do, or how to get the plane off the ground, because you haven't studied the principles of flight, or understand thrust and lift.

If we knew God I mean truly knew God, we would begin to realize that we have everything through His power in the spirit to overcome all obstacles in our lives and we would begin be successful!

I am not trying to offend anyone listening tonight, but I am trying to get you to think about why you are doing it the way that you are.

The Lord says My people die for lack of knowledge

Hosea 4: 1-7

1."Hear the word of the Lord, You children of Israel, for the Lord brings a charge against the inhabitants of the land:
There is no truth or mercy or knowledge of God in the land.
2.By swearing and lying, killing and stealing and committing adultery,
They break all restraint, with bloodshed upon bloodshed.
3.Therefore the land will mourn and everyone who dwells there will waste away with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air;
Even the fish of the sea will be taken away.
4." Now let no man contend, or rebuke another;
For your people are like those who contend with the priest.
5.Therefore you shall stumble in the day;
The prophet also shall stumble with you in the night;
And I will destroy your mother.
6.My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me;

The knowledge of God here refers to intimate fellowship with Him, not just knowing who He is

When we reject relationship with God, I mean having that intimacy a true love relationship with Him eventually over time it will destroy us.

Man's sin has a detrimental effect on his environment. All we have to do is look around us the world seems to be going to hell in a hand basket. Look at our school system is God there? Look at some of the crazy laws being passed around our nation, even some Christians are standing on the side of a women's right to murder another human being that is growing inside of her, when God is clearly against it!

Brothers and sisters we have been lulled to sleep and we have let others tell us what is right and wrong.

How can we be priests for God when we really don't have a relationship with Him. How can we hear Him and know it is Him when we don't take the time to study His living word?

Jeremiah 29: 11-13

" For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.

And you will seek Me and find Me, When you search for Me with all you heart. "

Brothers and sisters I am not trying to anger anyone, but this is real we are fighting a spiritual battle and satan will have the upper hand if you do not prepare yourself for battle.

Family I love you and I want you to live a victorious life, and if that offends you well I'm sorry

The Lord wants so much for us, but it seems as though we have no idea what it is. I believe it's because we do not know Gods word.

When we know Gods word we start to understand God, and that is were we realize how much He loves us. Then we begin to become confident in who we are knowing that we are the Lords, heirs to the throne of God.

Do you know that at the moment we received Jesus into our heart we received the power to heal, the wisdom to gain prosperity and best of all the power to raise people from the dead?

Jesus said in John 14:12 " Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father

You see we have the measure of faith and we believe that God can and does heal, we just don't think that He will do it for us. We don't feel good enough, well guess what nobody is that is, that's the news to good to be true ( the gospel ).

When Jesus said it is finished He completed it all, and it is given as a free gift to those who will trust in Him as their Savior

We Christians really don't seem to understand the power we have been given at the time of salvation, Paul is praying in Ephesians 1: 15-23 that God would give us the wisdom to understand what we have received.

You know we are as perfect in our spirit right now as we will be when we get to heaven when God looks down on us from His throne he doesn't see our flesh he sees Jesus He is looking upon our spirit and He smiles because He loves us. Amen!

I heard a pastor tell a story about a man who bought fare on a ship to America, after buying the ticket he had enough money left to buy a pack of crackers and some cheese to last him for the journey, during the trip he would walk the ship and watch the people eating large extravagant meals wishing he could afford to eat with them, on the last day of the cruise a porter asked him why he had not been eating and if there was something wrong with the food? The man told the porter that he was unable to afford it, the porter shook his head in sadness and said to the man sir all the food you saw came as a part of the trip, it was all free, and it was written on the ticket.

If the man would have just read his ticket he would have known that he had the authority to sit down with everyone else and enjoy the marvelous food he wished he could have had.

Where do you stand tonight? Are you being spoon fed as a baby in Christ or have you decided to let God speak to you through His living word in a time of study? I hope you choose the latter that way you will guard yourself from being led astray.
