Good morning all, this is the day the Lord has made, so rejoice!
This morning I want to express my thoughts on healing. Do you believe that you can receive healing? Lately I have noticed that Christians today run to God and beg and plead for Him to heal them or give them blessings or prosperity, and I feel this is due to lack of understanding and faith. How do we gain understanding, and faith? I believe the only way to gain understanding is by studying the word of God, Jeremiah 29:13 says "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart." quoting a book I read recently "the Lord doesn't come to those who passively seek Him. You must pursue Him wholeheartedly!" (Womack, 2006). We need to open and study the Bible, not just read the Bible, then we need to ask Gods wisdom about what we have just studied. After we have done this we will start to develop understanding in our hearts, and through this understanding our faith will begin to grow. In John 14:12 Jesus tells us "He who believes Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to the Father." What works did Jesus do? Get my point? Now that my tangent is over, how do we as Christians receive anything from the Lord? Brothers and sisters I am here to tell you 100% without a doubt we receive according to our faith, a faith in what the Lord Jesus has already done for us on the cross! On the cross our Lord Jesus defeated all sickness and disease, and He completed all things on our behalf, He descended into the lower parts and He defeated Satan, and took back everything he ever stole from us. Thank you Jesus! You see friends, Jesus has given us everything we need to succeed in this life, He has finished all things and now it is up to us, we need to do our part. We must study so we can get Gods word into our hearts, and when we get the word into our hearts a picture will grow of healing, happiness, prosperity; all the things that Jesus wants for us will be there for us! Jesus raised a rulers daughter from the dead; Matthew he said, "Do you believe that I am able to do this? Then He said according to your faith let it be to you." Dear family we need to study, we need to make the time, any amount of study is much better than none. Then as you go about your day meditate on what you have read, ask for understanding, and watch the incredible things you will do as the Holy Spirit works through you! Prove me wrong.
God Bless each and every one of you!!!!!
