God's Race

This marks the beginning of a journey that has been in progress now for almost 43 years, and the reason I call it the beginning is because I am starting something new and fresh. When I was a child, my mother tells me that she would creep up on my door and listen to me talking to Jesus, yet she was so awestruck that she would never peer around the corner fearing what she felt she would see. Since my childhood I have been running from God and from what I know he has wanted me to do in my life for Him. I don't have a clear vision of how I am to do it now except put one foot in front of the other and just walk. I have literally wandered out in the wilderness of the world for 40 years and I am ready to come home to God. I don't want to just walk with God....I want to run with God. It is my purpose with this blog to share my thoughts and interpretations of how God speaks to me and how I perceive His word and to share His never ending love. It is my mission to reach out to others and let them know that God is a loving God. He is not about fear, fire and brimstone. He IS about peace, love and being YOUR cornerstone. I love my God and He loves you! And it is my intent to drive that message home to the hearts and minds that reach this page. In His love, Troy
